And I can't tell if I'm drowning or floating
So I just keep on going, going
And I don't even know if I wanna be free
'Cause the freedom of this party is killing me
You might think I'm depressed as can be
But when I look in the mirror I see sexy-ass me
And if that's somethin that you can't respect then that's peace
My life's better without you, actually
To everyone out there, who's a little different
I say damn a magazine, these is God's fingerprints
You can call me ugly but can't take nothing from me
I am what I am, doctor, you ain't gotta love me
I'ma be all right
You ain't gotta be my friend tonight (you ain't gotta love me)
And I'ma be okay You would probably bore me anyway (you ain't gotta love me)
This whole album has NO SKIPS. Meaning.. every single song is worth listening to. Of course I go in and out with favorites, but the entire body of work has me without words to describe the amazingness.... I just can't even.
This song is so sultry and sweet.
cutest lyrics ever award goes to Jay Z: "If I can stay in her hair forever, that'd be fine by me"
I know my place, and it ain't with you
Sunsets fade, and love does too
Yeah, we had our day in the sun
When a horse wants to run, there ain't no sense in closing the gate You can have your space, cowboy
It starts slow, but keep going and let that drum and bass flood your mind.
I can't believe it took me so long to appreciate this band... considering the lead singer played guitar on tour for Jenny Lewis, I should have given them more of a chance.
But to be fair, I had no idea until now that she worked with my goddess, J. Lew.
my best friend caught you creepin'
You blamed it all on the alcohol
So I made my decision
'Cause you made your bed, sleep in it
Play the victim and switch your position
I'm through, I'm done
This is the last song on the album and it's only been one day, but throughout the day I've had different favors. As it's approaching the evening, my darker side comes out I guess.
